This piece helped me pass my grade 7 and I loved it. It is definately one of my favourites, alongside Le cygne by Saint Saens. And yeah I made my teacher promise that if I die before him, He'll play it as my funeral. He is an amazing cellist.

Bach did write this piece very close after his beloved wife had died. I wouln´t want to hear it on my wedding - althought it´s one of his best pieces!
