Some say it also stands for SOS as wellThe ambiguity of Turners lyrics and songs, for me, makes them more than just songs. Its world class poetry.And another reason i think Arctic Monkeys as a whole are so great is look at the start of the video. He has a laugh with the audience. Just something really stupid and immature but then they go onto perform a song of such beauty. They do it in a lot of there performances. Bloddy hell that was a long comment for ye !!

and basically it's about how a hotel room became the scenery of their relationship because he was never around too long and would always leave her on her own to wait for him. I can't remember where I read this, but I'm pretty sure it's true.
